AKTUALISASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS KULTUR SEKOLAH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI MTS AL BANNAA

This Study aims to look at the actualization of character education, student responses, inbithing factors in actualizing school cultured based character education sosial studies learning at MTs Al Bannaa Cikalahang Village. This study uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used included observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the deputy head of student affairs and teacher as the main informants, and students as supporting informants. Data analysis techniques went through several stages, namely data reduction, presentation of data, verification of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the actualization of school culture based character education in sosial studies learning at MTs Al Bannaa has unfavorable results. This can be seen from student responses when implementing school culture based character education, and low interst in learning. Factor inhibting the actualization of character education include: self, family, school environment, and educator factors. The conclusion from this study is that character education based on school culture at MTs Al Bannaa is very lacking. This can be seen from the student responses, and the lack of social studies teacher role, apart from that there are external factors that become obstacies.
